Annie and Alec started upgrading windows and doors in their large 2-storey early 1900s home January 2015 and say they selected NK Windows because of the company’s trustworthy reputation, local fabrication & support and because the installers are employees – and not contractors. The 2nd phase of their upgrade took place August 2016.
The original joinery was very draughty and doors would often stick and then require 2 people to close. Annie says the new windows and doors have maintained the style of the house, are easy to use, seal exceptionally well and have transformed their house into a comfortable quiet home.
Annie has been delighted by NK Windows installation staff whom she says are “always polite and clean up after themselves - unlike many other tradespeople!”.
Annie and Alec love the secure ventilation function provided by the German-designed and manufactured Tilt & Turn window hardware. They regularly leave their windows on tilt when they are away from the house without a concern about safety.
